Hi, I’m Jeremiah Williams.
I help adult beginners and returning players build confidence and enjoy making music.
My lessons combine practical guitar technique with music fundamentals, at a pace that works for you. With 20+ years teaching and 30+ years performing, I’ll help you understand what you play and develop your own musical voice.

My background
As both a self-taught musician and someone who pursued private lessons whenever I could afford them, I understand firsthand the challenges students face when trying to learn without clear guidance.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Music and a Master’s Degree in Music Composition, combining formal academic training with practical teaching and performance experience.
I’ve performed in bands, composed music, and studied guitar with world-renowned players including Martin Taylor, John Knowles (CGP), Richard Smith, and Nelson Faria—author of The Brazilian Guitar Book, a highly respected resource for learning Bossa Nova and Brazilian guitar styles.
