Learn guitar through classic rock songs in a welcoming, beginner-friendly setting. This workshop is for veterans and anyone in recovery from addiction, alcoholism, codependency, and related challenges.
Who this is for
Veterans and people in recovery who want to explore guitar in a supportive, music-centered setting.
You do not need previous guitar experience. Whether you are picking up a guitar for the first time or returning to it, you are welcome.
Here, “recovery” refers to addiction, alcoholism, codependency, and related personal recovery journeys—not physical rehabilitation after an injury.
Before you come
Bring your own guitar.
Participants will need an instrument to use during the workshop.
Beginners are welcome.
No prior guitar experience is required.
First and third Wednesdays each month, through December 2026.

Jeremiah Williams has been teaching guitar for 20 years and holds a bachelor’s degree in music and a master’s degree in music composition.
